It’s been almost nine years since I turned on my computer
and started writing about my life in a blog called StrawberryTart! I was fresh
out of a divorce and struggling to find myself in my new life as a single
mother to my first daughter, Shelby. Many of my posts were bitter and to be
honest many of my early posts I’ve deleted to save myself the embarrassment.
During my first year of writing I was faced with many
challenges like losing one of best friends in a car accident and
dealing with my x-husband moving on with his life.
A year to the day after starting my writing adventure I had
my last first date with the son of a Lutheran pastor – referred to on this blog
as JAG. Why JAG? It’s a long story that I wrote about here. I have since changed his name back to Matt in my writing.
Matt and I were married in October of 2010 and since then
have had a busy life.
We welcomed our daughter Rebekah into our family just a
little less than a year after we were married.
And my youngest daughter, Morgan, was born in March of 2013 after a frightening battle with Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy.
Oh how I would love to just break right into my testimony right her in my about me, but I think it may be a little much. I am working through My Story and hoping that it will help and bless someone. My story is full of grace and the redemption at Jesus Christ has given me. It’s been a long road, but God is good!
Thank you for stopping by. I try to blog at least four times a week maybe more. I do hope to get to know you as well please let me know you came to visit.
